Refund and Return Policy

Welcome to Thennai Mart. We take pride in the quality of our food and masala products and aim for 100% customer satisfaction. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Overview

Our refund and return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery.
If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • You must provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Products must not be perishable or part of our non-returnable items list.

📦 Important: Please do not send any product back to the manufacturer without prior communication.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food items)

  • Downloadable software or digital products

  • Health & personal care items

  • Gift cards

  • Flammable liquids/gases or hazardous materials

  • Intimate or sanitary products

Partial Refunds May Be Issued For

  • Items with visible signs of use

  • Opened media items (e.g., CDs, DVDs)

  • Products not in original condition or missing parts not due to our error

  • Returns requested after 30 days of delivery

Refunds Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, you will be notified via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment via Razorpay (UPI, card, wallet, or net banking).

⏳ Please allow 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund hasn’t been received yet:

  • Recheck your bank account or Razorpay wallet.

  • Contact your card provider or bank (processing may take additional time).

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Items on sale or discounted are non-refundable, unless they are damaged or defective.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are:

  • Defective, or

  • Damaged during delivery.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit.
Once the returned item is received and approved, a gift voucher or coupon will be issued.

If the gift was shipped to the giver, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.

🚚 Note:

  • Customers are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • If you receive a refund, the cost of prepaid return shipping (if any) will be deducted from your refund total.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for returned items lost in transit.
